Randy Gross

Chief Information Officer at CompTIA

Biography

In his role as CIO for CompTIA, Randy is responsible for oversight of CompTIA's Technology and Customer Operations. He acts as Executive sponsor for vendor management of key certification partners and oversees customer experience for all certification candidates, alumni, association corporate members, and registered users, ensuring ANSI/ISO compliance for key areas of responsibility. Randy leads the business and technology strategy for CompTIA's major digital customer facing assets, including all CompTIA websites and e-commerce.

Prior to joining CompTIA Randy worked at Accenture, where he was responsible to Transition Planning and Transformation, managing teams across US, UK and Canada. He holds a BA in B.A., Political Science, History from University of North Carolina and is an United States Air Force Academy Alumni.



Brian Watson

Co-Head, CIO Networks, Metis Strategy and Best-Selling Author

Biography

Brian Watson is an author, speaker and contributor to a wide array of business/technology forums focused on IT leadership and the CIO role. He is the author of Confessions of a Successful CIO: How the Best CIOs Tackle Their Toughest Business Challenges (Wiley, March 2014), and writes profiles of elite IT leaders for CIO.com

Previously, he served as Editor in Chief of CIO Insight. Brian has also contributed analysis and reporting to various IT leadership publications, and frequently speaks and moderates panels at various CIO-themed conferences.

Outside of his writing, speaking and IT leadership analysis activities, Brian has also served as Director of Business Outreach for Workforce Opportunity Services, a 501c3 nonprofit that trains talented military veterans and young adults for careers in the private sector.

Brian earned a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and a Master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.



Joseph Tufano

CIO at St. John’s University

Biography

A double alumnus of St. John’s, Joseph Tufano joined the University in 2002 and is currently the Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Information Technology. During his tenure, he has transformed the culture of the academic community, driving its commitment to the use of technology in every facet of campus life.

He has received individual recognitions for his work at St. John’s, which includes the CIO Magazine’s “CIO 100 Award”, presented to technology leaders who added new IT value in innovative ways.

Mr. Tufano has more than 30 years experience in the information technology industry. Prior to joining St. John’s, he held executive positions at Prudential Financial, Inc., and MetLife. Mr. Tufano earned a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics from St. John’s University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Polytechnic University.



Russell Sarder

Biography

Russell Sarder is an American business Author, Entrepreneur and CEO of Learning. Under his leadership, NetCom Learning has become a multimillion-dollar business. In 2008 and 2011, Inc 5000 Magazine listed NetCom Learning as one of the fastest growing private companies in the USA and in 2015 Microsoft has chosen NetCom Learning as its Learning Partner of the Year.

Sarder is the author of Building An Innovative Learning Organization. He has been featured in Yahoo Finance, CNBC, Daily News and the New York Times; his television appearances include CBS Market Watch, and NY1. Sarder is also a business practitioner and mentor for MBA students and alumni at Columbia University.

Sarder was a winner of the 2011 Top Ten Asian American Business Awards and 50 Outstanding Asian Americans in Businesses. Sarder is also the CEO of Sarder TV, and other smaller companies. He is also a philanthropist and the benefactor of Netcom Learning’s Sarder Scholarship, awarded monthly to individuals who wish to begin or advance their IT careers.


Vaishali Jain

Biography

Vaishali has been working in the media industry for 14 years and has been Sarder TV Anchor since 2014.

Prior to joining Sarder TV, she had her own CEO talk show on Bloomberg TV that she anchored and produced. In addition, while living in India, she was an anchor and reporter for one the largest media companies in the country.

Prior to endeavor in India, Vaishali worked as a Management Consultant in the finance industry in New York City. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a concentration in Finance and her Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology.
